Continuing our love of all things that fit perfectly, this Wednesday sees Snugg Wetsuits Malcolm Ball, the UKs most experienced triathlon wetsuit maker visiting Bike Science to train our fitters in the art of custom wetsuit tailoring. Snugg wetsuits were founded in 1982 by Malcolm and have been making high performance triathlon suits since the late 80’s. Countless pro’s over the years have both won wearing Snugg suits or had their own sponsored suits altered to fit by Malcolm and his highly experienced team.

As bike fitters one of the most difficult tasks we are faced with is clients visiting us for Retul Precision Bike Fits with bikes that how can I put it politely? – are “far from ideal” when it comes to geometry. As fitters, we never want to make the rider fit the bike, the bike MUST fit the rider. A rider should never feel that they have to contort themselves into an uncomfortable position to ride or use any significant muscular force to maintain their riding position.
